Owls in the Family

I did a really fun design for The Bold Italic on insane window displays in the Mission. It's called "Collect Them All' - check it out!

Witch Doctor Pika

For a class assignment to draw something with three random elements. I drew exasperated witch-doctor pika. Someone actually guessed it, too.

Spice Flowed

I designed and illustrated an article for The Bold Italic two weeks ago, but I forgot to post it. No slight meant, it's awesome and about Japanese curry. I got to draw lots of vegetables for it. I like sketching vegetables almost, almost as much as I like eating vegetables.

Stay healthy, kids!

Hot and Heavy!
I did the design for a great Bold Italic story by the super funny Laura Beck. It was on the main page while I was in transit back from Senegal (visiting my girlfriend, Kathy!), but here's the permalink.

A Loving Spoonful
I had a lot of fun doing illustrations and design for Jennifer Maerz's story on the massively weird cult phenomenon that is The Room. It's on the front page of the Bold Italic today. Here's a permalink to the piece. And as a bonus, a handy guide for spotting The Room's superfans:

Tiny Tienlons
I did the design and illustrations for the story running on the Bold Italic's front page today. In it, Tienlon Ho goes to 6 ice cream parlors in one day, devours epic amounts of frozen treats and almost barfs. The permalink's here.

Sergio Walks
I'm slowly teaching myself animation when I've got free moments. A couple weeks ago I rigged up a character I'm calling Sergio. Here he is doing a jaunty walk (although the gif compiled at a super low frame rate... I'll try to figure out why).
